Beyonce will perform during the NFL's half-time show on Christmas Day when the Houston Texans face the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium.
Beyonce previously performed at two Super Bowls in 2013 and 2016. She headlined the half-time show at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans while also joining Coldplay and Bruno Mars for the half-time show at Super Bowl 50 in the Bay Area.
The Christmas Day double header, which includes Kansas City Chiefs' trip to Pittsburgh Steelers, will be streamed live on Netflix, who did not reveal details about Beyonce's performance but teased that it would likely feature guest appearances from her "Cowboy Carter" album, which led her to receiving 11 Grammy nominations earlier this month.
February's Super Bowl half-time show will be headlined by 17-time Grammy award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar as he takes centre stage in New Orleans, which will host the NFL's showpiece game for a record-tying 11th time.
Netflix remains new to streaming live sporting events as it prepares to host NFL games on the back of showing Friday's fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, which drew some complaints due to buffering.
The Texans will be led by CJ Stroud as they take on the Super Bowl-chasing Ravens, spearheaded by two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.
The other Christmas Day game meanwhile sees the Chiefs continue their pursuit of a third straight Super Bowl crown when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have started the year with an impressive record of 8-2.
